LOL, quite an under statement.
When I was in the Middle East, I frequently saw pairs of men walking down the road holding hands. When I asked about it, I was told that they were "just friends".
On another occasion, I had to share the same living quarters on an oil drilling rig as my Egyptian helpers(all male, of course) for a couple of nights. I knew enough Arabic to understand when one of them was complaining to another that they wouldn't be able to indulge in group masturbation like they usually did. I didn't apologize for cramping their style.
