You might note that the article points out that when New Zealand lifted its tariffs, things improved. Yes, things ought to be better still, and they request that other countries remove tariffs against them, to that end. The Bottom line remains, standing alone in removing tariffs, they improved. If they go backwards, offering up retaliatory tariffs once again, they'll suffer.

That's the way I've been telling you it works in the real world, and this is just more evidence.
