Joe, I don't consider the bombs made by the Russians to generate electricity (chernobl) as Nuclear Power plants. If you think there is any similarity between a Russian bomb plant and an American Nuclear Power Plant it's only because of your total technology ignorance in this area. Now consider all the exotic chemistry that goes into tthe batteries and solar cells and how all these hundreds of tons and tons of equipment have to be replaced every few years. All high level nuclear waste to date is 25,000 cubic yards. 100 by 50 by 5 yards. A football field, 15 feet high. 40, 50 years. tom watson tosiwmee
