IMO it doesn't matter if it's inefficient, or if we have to pay a little more than we should have to pay. There are far more important considerations IMO to look at. Sometimes things are more important than just dollars and cents. I posted that before, I believed that before, and I still believe it. We went on and on about it a few days ago, nothing has changed my opinion on it, nothing will change my opinion concerning it. IMO we need steel mills for national defense, they are a vital industry, we cannot rely on foreign countries to supply us with war materials.

I am unwilling to accept that risk unless forced to do so.
If I have a vote, I vote to keep them open, I don't care about textbook theory, tarriff arguments, freetrade ideals. They aren't even a consideration to me in this issue.
