But you are one of those who have bought the McKinley hype. Show me some real data showing McKinley performance. I'll save you the time, there isn't any. There isn't any? Really? I've seen a 4-way McKinley system demonstrated in public over a year ago. I've seen IBM line up solidly behind IPF. I've seen Compaq go 100% Intel in their server line even to the extent of dropping their own Alpha line. I've seen HP participate in McKinley development. I've seen NEC, Unisys and Dell commit to IPF. I've seen Gateway and IBM dump AMD. Every one of them had access to Hammer specifications and AMD's roadmap before they made their decisions. Nobody has lined up behind Hammer. Everybody has turned and run the other way. I'm not the only one who has bought the McKinley hype. Maybe we all know something you don't know? EP
