A lot of people that post here have never worked in an engineering or computer development environment, that's obvious. They think that because someone puts it on a foil for this performance at that date, it will happen. They have no idea what a huge job it is to get a product as complex as these out the door successfully. AMD still has a huge amount left to do on the Hammers. Anyone that says or implies that it's anything remotely close to in the bag for Q4, for example, for Hammer to launch, is dreaming. This is so true! These people who wouldn't know a netlist from fishing line have bought Jerry's hype hook line and sinker. A foil is a product! The work involved in getting even a simple product out the door is enormous. Anyone who has been through a product development cycle knows the work involved and the ease with which they buy this hype is a testament to their inexperience, naivety and gullibility. This is not to say that Hammer will not live up to claims. Anything is possible. Just the chances are remote. EP
