It sounds awesome. But remember the Mississippi civil rights murders? No sooner had a redneck jury done the expected pro-forma acquittal, than the Federal government slapped the defendants with a civil rights violation for the same crime, same facts, same evidence. Some of those convicted in the second trial got 10 years on that charge, a fairly stiff sentence.

Just because we all cheered that some measure of justice was done, doesn't change the fact that those awesome words above had to be twisted like a pretzel to accomplish it.
