Scott...I don't know the industry much at all.

But if Carly attacks the intergration of these two companies with the same determination as she did the vote (to merge) then HWP is in good hands.

At first all the folks were saying that she didn't have a chance. Then there was talk on how she would have to resign if it fell through. Now the talk is how big companies can't do a merger. How many times does she have to prove herself right?

For HWP the good news is that Capellas will the day to day manager. He seems to rub people the right way and is a good motivator. The Compaq people like him and I think that the HWP folks will also enjoy his leadership. He was very charitable in his comments about Wally.

Best play for HWP ....buy some HWP options at the 20 strike as far out as you like. Beyond July. I think that the uncertainty about HWP's future (Thanks to Wally) is what kept the share price depressed.

Options on HWP....I follow my own advice.
