Stranger things happened.
Obviously, Placer gave away at least 30% of the Donlin Creek property for $10 mil. Pretty good deal for NRI. Don't you think?
30% of ~20 mil oz., at this point, is still a lot of gold.
Nova's exploration work was internally financed in 2001. They say that they will have more than $8 mil for exploration this year from their gravel, sand and property operations. No private placements at a discount to market price! I think it is a huge bonus.
When I first learnt about NRI back in June 2001, the whole story sounded too good to be true. But with many juniors trading at cash value, and lies upon lies in corporate America, I thought: why not...
Regardless of motivations of the players in this game, the fairy tale has been working for me.
Is it going to be happy ending? I don't know. I believe that this is a true Bull market in gold and it is difficult for me to resist such enormous an exposure to POG as via Nova.
Mind you, we are not talking about a $100 stock like Nortel a while ago. That was a SPECULATION. Approved and enjoyed by all involved. On the other hand, Nova's lottery tickets are just ~$3.7 apiece at this moment.
