Could it be that Intel has learned enough about 4-way/8-way hammer to become frightened and frantic? Intel has rushed before. Botched gates and a P3 that wouldn't compile a Linux kernel. Poor Barrett looked like an idiot trying to FUD it away by claiming Linux being "obscure" software....... Sounds like the P4 advertising FUD........a 20 stage pipeline running streaming apps. Instead of government workers playing solitare, they can use their PCUnlimited P4 systems for streaming multimedia from the internet. If you have work to do, get an AMD processor. Steve
