As far as I know the following are non polluting: Wind power.... A growing trend in Europe is to place wind power generators in the ocean, perhaps 50 miles offshore. The depth is not too great in the Atlantic and they are out of sight and away from most activities. The array of generators can double as lighthouse markers.
