When we were pouring home basements, said wheelbarrows loaded with concrete often had to be pushed 30 feet or more along a flimsy network of 1x12s boards. Sometimes 90-degree turns were required. On either side of the 1x12s was muddy ground topped with cinders. One slip of the foot in the mud could tip the entire load and incite the wrath of the concrete finishers. When pouring concrete patios outdoors, the mud problem again often was a factor, especially when the concrete truck couldn't be maneuvered close to the pour site.

Obviously, you are not familiar with concrete construction or you wouldn't have tried to rebut my contention based on your experience pushing a wheelbarrow in a steel plant.
