I guess by expressing sympathy for the Palestinian plight that makes me anti-israel which I am not. The difference between the the Jewish citizens of Israel and the Palestinians is that the Arabs are oppressed. Palestinian terrorists of today, perhaps are like the terrorist members of the Stern Gang, the Haganah and the Irgun of yesterday who are considered by many in Israel as heroes. Isn't part of the success of Israel today a result of the concealed pain and appalling human costs to the Palestinians. Isn't the Israeli government of today continuing to expand settlements in the occupied territories? Why is it only palestinian land that gets expropriated, why is only arab olive groves that get bulldozed. Arab home are always being bulldozed. If I was a child in the occupied territories and see how Israel humiliates the people there, I would find it difficult to love my Israeli neighbors -- that's what I heard on TV a Jewish soldier say.. Why have Palestinians been allowed to live in refugee camps for as long as they have. Because Israel preferred it that way, is my opnion why.
