And if for reasons of lobbying, PR, commercial aspects, Congress etc, the US did not do more, Israel has survived quite well in the last half century. It is still a survival mode though, not the best life, I'll admit.
Now the bad guys can't even kill more Israelis than the usual, but not acceptable car accidents.
It hasn't always been so.
It would have been different had you not been very supportive, always present when needed, and to the needed extend!
It would have been much gloomier, if at all, and that is what many Arabs resent, even if not openly.
And now you are attempting to clean the backyard. Even the Saudis media ?!
You'll make it. But it will also take the help of a full arab language CNN, (not a website to read), lots of time and inventions, as you'll have to invent educational processes and delivering means as you go along.
But you have succeeded in such tasks. Remember, much before the US soldiers set foot in Japan or Germany, your teachers, advisors and whomever was needed in endless lists of educational programs were ready ro roll out.
It ain't going to be different this time. And if the sculls are a bit thicker, it'll just take some more time.
