Toni not at all. The bottom line is what you spend to make one chip that you can sell. The mechanics of the cost is irrelevant and you are talking about the mechanics. Make sense, no? No. You didn't mention yields in your post listing all the money Intel spends, and why that makes them NOT the low cost producer. If AMD spends less, in proportion to its size, but its yields are much less, then they wouldn't be the low cost producer. By the way, it's Tony.
