WHY IS INTEL spending so much money trying to get into the client/server market? cuz, SUNW may take over intel's market in computing in the future. when high-speed networks are properly deployed. wouldn't the internet become the standard de facto for personal computing? intel is no doubt teaming up with microsoft. with windows NT. however, windows NT will NEVER take over Unix. more likely, they will co-exist. interconnectivity between NT and Unix is the way to go for the future. why did SUNW try to take over Apple computeR? SUNW is rigorously engineering into the desktop OS business. that is the strength of NT. SUNW's client/server hardware is NO DOUBT WAY superior to intel's. if sunw can engineer into the desktop OS market, both intel and MSFT are finished.
