The Russians have been deadlocked there so long, even the commander wanted to withdraw years ago. Only hardliners wouldn't here of it. So he proclaimed, "Victory" and they partially withdrew. Seems he could never get enough supplies to finish the job. Can't blame him for inadequate supplies. I wonder what became of the victorious General? Anyway, it was common knowledge that it would take forever to get all their forces to withdraw, ...we couldn't wait that long!
