China has its own problems right now with the economy, political changing of the guard, its own terrorist groups and groups of sedition. Multiple directions for the money to flow. Including modernizing the Chinese Navy with the acquisition of the old aircraft carriers (which they plan to build their own knockoffs of the style that best fits their needs). Chances are, they will be more likely to build regional carriers now and less likely to build global ones.
