Regarding the CYMI beautiful chart.

I guess it all depends on where you slice the calendar:

IMHO, CYMI is are doing great because we are at the beginning point in a recovery where the first of the semi tech stocks come back.

That means all the guys like AMAT that make materials for semis. CYMI makes lasers that are used to create circuits . Like AMAT they are the first to get big orders because the first thing semi companies have to do after getting orders is buy the equipment to manufacture.

I think people like AMAT and CYMI are telling us that the spike up in purchase orders for semis is clearly for real.

The downside? I guess the growth levels off for AMAT and CYMI first too. I trust AMAT more....but you never know.

Can you make a case for sustained growth with CYMI?

Is it a gorilla? ;)

Cymer, which sold its thousandth unit in 2000, owns the majority of the world market for DUV lasers. Semiconductor equipment makers incorporate DUV lasers into their photolithography devices because the technology enables them to put more circuits on a chip and to produce more chips.
