A little fishing today.....

Well, now that I've consumed my usual Friday night quota of Guiness, it is clear :) that there are many very serious investors still lurking and interested in "fishing" stories. One of our fishing buddies was talking to a fella who heard the following "rumours" around the oilpatch:

1. The rig at ELH#4 is being moved out of the way fairly quickly. As of Friday morning there was no workover rig or testing equipment on site. The rig at #4 looks like it will be staying around and will be stored near the Denny's restaurant until needed.

2. ELH#9 has run E-logs and is back in the hole as of early today. From what we can gather they are done drilling and will run casing for a completion try. May have to head back to the fishing hole and keep my ears open, early next week. Just never know when you might hear a rumour, from around the "oilpatch".

3. Pyramid Power is attempting to sidetrack at about 15,000'. They stuck the bottom hole assembly (geez, is that a surprise) and could not fish it out. Indications are that they have not really had any positive encouragement from this hole. The geology is "way off" on predicted formation depths according to rumours, that have been circulating around a favorite fishing spot.

4.Sounded like one of the fisherman said NWLH #1 is still trying to get a decent CEEMENT job on the casing they ran a few weeks ago. Something about them having a saltwater/gas zone that wants to flow on them from the Devilwater.

Somebody said they thought it has been almost a month since there has been any drilling there.

It is getting much tougher to find any good "fishing" spots but thanks to a few experienced anglers there is still an opportunity to overhear the occasional rumour. While I enjoy fishing I'm not very good at landing any. Thank goodness there are fishermen who are willing to share their catch!

Must be time for one more guiness. Breakfast at Killkenny's. Cheers!
