Alert on deer ticks & lyme disease in the N/E One of our Goldens has tested positive for lyme disease. Apparently the unusually warm winter has resulted in a burgeoning "epidemic" of the problem. Pet owners who use "Frontline" are not fully protected, as a tick will still live long enough to infect the animal. JC
