I haven't found the AAII poll predictive at extremes like Investors Intelligence and Consensus. I know traders who have spent countless hours futilely trying to uncover something predictive on a historical basis using the AAII poll data. It's most often used as ammunition by bulls and bears to bolster their already preconceived opinions.
