I think you have mixed things up in your post a little, although I think I understand what you meant.
South America has lots of water, they have lots of minerals, they just didn't use them properly. Their governments were what caused them to be slower than us in the case of S.A. in addition to something else I think. I think their whole mindset was to blame. I think, I don't know, but I think they didn't have a future for their countries in mind, they just made money and sent it out of the countries as fast as they could, instead of reinvesting it, like people did here for their future. Where were the Ford's of S.A.? The Carnegie's? The Vanderbilts? Think what you may of those people, but they built American Industry and stayed here, and didn't send their money overseas and not recycle it here, like they do in S.A.
China also had/has a bad government IMO but their population size also hindered them. They needed an awful lot, and still do to get their people away from just trying to feed themselves and concentrate on industry.
The thing is, whatever it was or is the reason,, we're doing something right and they're all doing something wrong, because if it was the other way around, they all would be where we are, and we would be where they are, not as things are now.
They all need to take a good hard look at themselves and get off this "It's America's Fault" kick, and if islam ever does win the war of civilizations, we all might as well just kill ourselves, because nothing will ever get done, except the beating of women and more torture and misery of people. |
