Does anyone here believe that CNN runs thestory of the dozen or so afghani smile algerians get daily ?
And it has been stated very often that the political police does it's own exactions on the population, but don't ask me why ? Now the Algerians Gov always had a problem about some acres here in there in Israel. Even though they lost the Spanish Sahara Rio del Oro to the Moroccans, twenty times the size of Israel and Palestine together, mind you! And even with a country a sixt of the US, read huge, with oil (50 some million tons per year. They only need a dozen, Fu;k ), Uranium, check yes, etc with Yesses, plus more than enough rain on all littoral surfaces to fifty KM, and a good crop per year on the lowers plateus, well, with all that they are poor and lost and no future.
Do not expect France to do anything to change the status co, not because France wouldn't like to do it but because they can't.
So, if America asks where there is more work to be done, because the radicalisation of Islam has been at work, there is a place where the government will not shy away and will contribute to the US help. But it may take more time as Algeria is not a primary target.
I understand and agree. Too bad for them.
