Well the Jewish people thought like you and Hitler walked all over them and killed them. Pacifism is good at a personal level but evil tyrants just love pacifists. As I mentioned to you before, I practice Ahimsa which is the mother of pacifism. The concept of non-violence goes back to the religious far east where this non-violence was extended not to just humans but to all creatures who walked the earth. Schweitzer in an eloquent poem stated that while praying for peace we continue to feed ourselves upon the dead (refering to the eating of meat). peace
