Libras like to keep things in balance. I'd like some sort of gun control, but I'd sure like to be able to keep what I have, especially given the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere with several species of large furry predators in the neighborhood, and with response times by the sheriff of
at least 30 minutes. Don't see a lot of need for automatic rifles, bazookas, TOW,tanks, etc.
Longer waits and better checks...sure; chalk it up to national security. If we give the gvt the right to wiretap everything in the country and to check our shoes because of terrorist activities, why not let them make sure who gets guns? (Pragmatically, way too late for that; too many guns already available).

I suppose if the state ever starts militias in each town, I'd join up as a medic. Guard. Uh uh. Not evenwhenI was 4o years younger.
