<i.Don't see a lot of need for automatic rifles, bazookas, TOW,tanks, etc. Actually, those are already illegal for civilians. why not let them make sure who gets guns? Jefferson's idea was that an armed citizenry would keep the gov't in control. Without those weapons above, I'm not sure that would work, though. (Pragmatically, way too late for that; too many guns already available). Yup. The hard line gun control freaks ought to think about what it would take to get all those guns back. Although, they probably wouldn't care about all those dead bodies if they were (former) gun owners. I'd join up as a medic Non-combatant?
