Staging a major war against Iraq out of Israel seems problematic

Nobody's going to stage it out of Israel. Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, the no-fly zones in Iraq, and aircraft carriers in the Gulf will do the trick, from what I've read. I would bet that once we go in, the Saudis will have a change of heart about letting us use our bases in Saudi Arabia. Better to to be allied with the winning side.
