Porsche - Apple = Stupid Analogy

There's no comparing the two.

The problem with the small Mac market share is getting developer and hardware vendor support. Mac's require different software applications and drivers.

Porsche may have a small over all market share but it still uses the same unleaded gas as my truck and the same oil and transmission fluid and the profit margin on Porsche accessories and parts is high enough for small car part makers to stay in business by catering to Porsche owners.

Margins are often not high enough for a developer to spend the time and money porting to the Mac or making their latest video card available for the Mac. It's just not practical unless the market share can go up.
