Re: the conversion price of the bonds. They can convert at any price at a discount (I
think they said 15%?) from the stock.

Good question, could be she is just clueless. This bond converts into 61.31 shares of common. Based on the closing price of the bond today (37) you have a conversion value of $6.03. If you think this stock is cheap, buy the stock. If you are wondering if the company will survive, follow the bond price. This bond is selling at a ytm of 32%. The market is not giving this company great odds of surviving.

Well I guess I am clueless, but so was the above post, by tbevn. I guess tbevn was wrong about the conversion details. I have been asking for the conversion price for about 2 weeks and finally some has come up with the right answer, I hope. The point I have been trying to make is, if you are wondering if the company will survive, follow the bond price. I am just trying to figure when and if this stock will runup like it has so many times in the past. I am not selling bonds, I just think it is lucky that we have another instrument to follow which may give us a hint to future moves of this stock. After all if JTS had options, no one would critisize anyone for following the movement of the options. Thanks, Donald for finally answering the conversion question.
