when folks talked about money velocity -- I never really knew what they meant. This article was pretty good -- mises.org Many of his articles have a nice pedagogical feel -- straight talk. BTW -- Saw a little bit of CSPAN at my in-laws. Hearings on the Global Crossing bankruptcy. Some congresswoman from NY was pressing all the telcom execs about Pro Forma. Are there any standards? Any reason that investors could expect to find such Pro Forma earnings comparable between companies when deciding to invest? Lotso discussion of these 'capacity swaps', revenue recognition, etc.
