You think a good war is where casualties on both sides are equal? I don't know that I would characterize the Gulf War as a slaughter. I think it was more like an evil adventuror getting his just desserts. If I remember correctly, quite a few more than 25 got taken out by that Scud missile. Are you saying that 150,000 Viet Nam vets committed suicide? I don't believe that. There would be a hue and cry if it were true. I think the 58,000 men who died are indeed a real tragedy, the more so for their waste since we achieved nothing.
