Jay, I understand that some blue chip stocks like AMAT are traded on the Hong Kong exchange:

I also note the recent news that WMT is starting up in China.

Does the AMAT represent the AMAT-China operation or does it just track the US AMAT shares?

I note that WMT, for example, has a Wal-Mart de Mexico:
walmartmexico.com.mx
and you can buy the adr shares at:
www.adr.com

I note that the Mexican Wal-Mart does better than the US branch because it is kind of new there and growing rapidly.

I thought that perhaps the same would be true with the Chinese version of WMT and AMAT. What do you think?
