Mid cap value and small cap value funds have been on a tear this year. And so has Asia. Junk bonds had their first month of the past 19 where there was finally less defaults than the previous month. Doesn't seem like the makings of a bear market with so much internal strength. Cruising the boards and various trading forums this weekend I see endless bearishness and lots of sideline cash. Also, very, very heavy shorting the past several weeks.
