Churchy, these are interesting numbers, let take them a little further, Japan is the second largest economy (probably above 15% of world GDP, but I do not have that number handy), yet it consumes only 10% of the annual net production of gold (without recycling and reclaiming). They have room to import even more, don't you think? Zeev
