HI Bhag,
We evaluated both TXCC and PMC DS1 framers and felt that the TXCC would be more easy to integrate into our system which used the Level One LIUs' and Xilinx FPGAs. As a matter of interest a have a friend at our lab who used the PMC E1 chip and Xilinx FPGA in a related system. I think that they are more or less equal in capabilites that we were looking for.
