Hi shalom,

I think that the unforgivable sin is a cache-22 situation. If a person will not accept Jesus and be saved they cannot be forgiven. That IS the unforgivable sin. You can't be forgiven if you don't accept Jesus as your Savior. The person cuts themselves off from forgiveness. Cache-22. If that's wrong I pray that the Lord show me. But Jesus said there was one unforgivable sin, not two or three. Only one. And not accepting Jesus IS unforgivable. So there's the one unforgiable sin. The sin leading to death.

Step two here is this. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. (Calling the Holy Spirit a liar). Isn't that what everyone who denies Jesus is the Savior is doing? Saying the testimony of Jesus is not true, calling the Holy Spirit who is here testifying that Jesus is true a liar, is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. All the same thing really. If a person does not accept the testimony of Jesus by the Holy Spirit then they are blaspheming or calling the Holy Spirit a liar.
