Do you think that PC boxmakers will ever let DRAM makers make good money?

I think it will depend on supply and demand. I have seen some signs of an impending availability squeeze on dram which will help them enormously. And the PC makers will ship more and more dram, helped by microsoft, adobe, mpeg etc etc. (and the keeping up with the joneses)

The fact remains that dram is very very very cyclical and so are the stocks, where the most sensitive are (from the top imo) in terms of exposure: Micron, Hynix, Samsung and Infineon. (latter two have significant buffers in other business)

Cheers
