Term limit them out of politics. I'd never allow a person to serve more than 5 years in office without having to go back and work in the private sector for the equivalent amount of time. Both parties are completely out of touch with reality Good comment. In lieu of finding anyone in politics with integrity, this is a good first step. If politics stops being such a cesspool and a waystation towards personal profit real public servants will emerge. It should be volunteer work by citizen politicians. In fact, there should be a national public service for age 16 to 50, to give everyone the idea of public service as an obligation, integrate social experiences. I think also this will reduce corruption and scandal, since it will reduce the mystery -- so many people actually think politics is a place to make money. Two trillion dollar cashflow makes it difficult to turn around. It may require a tax revolt to get the thieves attention. JMO
