carl, Oh well what can we say.....we tried to warn all the blinded AMD/CYRX enthusiasts. Personally, I am impressed that AMD was able to post positive earnings of any magnitude. Albeit tiny, two positive quarters in a row is quite a feat for AMD or CYRX. Now that all the channel stuffing is over, it will be interesting to see if they will revert back to negatvie earnings this coming quarter. One day, and I doubt it will be soon, these guys will understand that their is a huge difference between producing a product and selling it. Too much talk about benchmarks....not enough talk about the reality of the market place. I can't believe that some here are surprised that Jerry didn't pre-announce the 67% shortfall. Do these people follow the company they invest in or do they just read trendy articles? Anyone who has followed AMD for any time at all knows that Jerry is the ultimate used car salesman. Jerry pre-announcing would be like your average used cars salesman telling you about a hidden defect in the car. Get real. Oh well, some will learn for this debacle.....sadly some will not. FF
