Bully for Intel, but what does that ancient piece of history have to do with Intels problems now. Are you trying to say Intels apparent yield problems are caused by the smaller BX demand.

You're the one who brought up the 440BX, not me. I ran the numbers and showed you how AMD had yield problems. As for your imaginary yield problems at Intel, how about running the numbers and showing us what you're talking about? Show us which fabs are running what, what the defect density is and how each part should yield given it's die size. I did that for Athlon so do what I did, show us the expected output. You need to be able to do that before you can claim Intel has a yield problem.
