09:41 ET Carrier capex to increase in 2H02-- Bernstein Bernstein's Paul Sagawa in a pre-open note says that carrier capex will increase in 2H02, with Q2 a significant inflection point in this cyclical industry; prefers Outperform-rated LU given its strong exposure to the healthiest carriers; Outperform-rated NT may take longer to recover given IXC exposure; and Mkt Perform-rated CSCO is much more levered to corporate IT spending, which may get worse before it gets better.
