Steve Smith, Alien Tech and som:
Steve - The terminology of 'undervalued' and 'overvalued' come from Ben Graham's original work on what is now termed 'value investing' by mutual fund managers. The basic idea was to buy shares in equities that have *assets* undervalued by the marketplace. By the standard definition, that ticker isn't undervalued. It seems to have a lot of potential, but given the duration of the uptick run, the possible timing for forward-looking earnings estimates, and the performance of its sub-industry, I still think it looks like its nearing time for a correction. BTW, my method of assessing stocks involves fundamental, technical, neural and market-influence factors, of which price is one consideration. And although I may have flawed logic, I endeavor to make sure that my terminology is always correct. And I mean this in the kindest possible way.
Alien Tech - uhh...JoeCopia was in charge of getting first class airfare for everyone by Friday night. We were all there Saturday but figured you didn't show for other reasons. Somebody said you had a date, but no one believed him. I'll have to talk with Joe....Darn. I feel really bad too. As for AMD, with the +99% earnings surprise and the forward looking statments that said they would end the year 388% better than 96, I expect AMD to go up for awhile. It has 22 analysts following it and 10 say its a Strong Buy or Buy. As for CSE, I never followed it, but from what I saw, I couldn't figure out why it was still going up either. But hey, what do I know?
som - I've been watching QDEK for months now, I sure hope something starts it back up. If AMTX finds resistance above 13 I'd say its a buy.
