I loved this Westi, Last night we watched AI. If you haven't seen it, the introduction talks of the devastating results of greenhouse gases. The camera pans in on a NYC that is half way drowned because the polar caps have melted and flooded the world. My husband cringed, and asked if we really had to watch this hogwash? He said "right off the bat they start with their crap." I told him to chill. I told him that it is a fantasy movie about the world in the future. A sci-fi flick. I also told him that it doesn't really matter what they say anymore because they have been exposed for who they are, and theirs is just another small voice among many more rational ones. I told him that no one really takes their histronics too seriously anymore because they have proven how inept and intolerant they are. That they are fringe. He smiled and we watched the rest of the movie together and enjoyed the entertainment. I have more than a few liberal friends. Some of them have bought into the doom and gloom hype made so popular during slicks rein.
