Sorry Russ, didn't get to see BGI at all. I actually walked right past Vic King at one point, totally disconnected and not thinking. He is with Gold Fields now (which I own )and I would very much have enjoyed talking with him again, particularly if I could have gotten a retrospective on BGI.I last spoke with him just after his leaving BGI and he certainly felt that the BUI concession is pregnant. I think picking up BGI cheap by someone like GSR would be a better deal for them than for BGI, depending on the particulars of course. If we are going to see a bull market then BGI will fare well on its own with cash (ASL) and great ground. However, I share your concern that BGI has been tied down by its agreement with ASL and hasn't done anything except sit around and wait, which there has been a lot of! If the bull doesn't get down to the juniors soon and takes another year or two, a deal with GSR would look fabulous.

One of the reasons I haven't jumped into IMR is I still believe there are companies with hard assets (ie: NSU,FAN, GBG,NGT) that are still cheap and I already own too many drill plays. With money still tight, any other candidates in the bargain basement ( $1.00 or less CDN) come to mind Russ?

Cheers
