Actually, WSW was what made PBS look pathetic and clueless as far as financial programs are concerned (though, on balance, they do have NBR, which is pretty good, and occasional programs featuring Jonathan Pond et al). Almost everything else on PBS is wonderful, thought-provoking material. I don't think any commercial network could have done a film as brilliant as Ken Burns' "Lewis and Clark". WSW was one of the few terrible programs on PBS -- even worse than the stuff on CNBS. And that is saying a lot!

If Rukeyser goes to CNBS, that will be a perfect match. He can now fleece the sheeple all day long instead of just once a week!
