That is in keeping with my observation that over the years the last day of the month and the first 4 trading days of the next month are generally up days. Also, the day before a holiday is generally up. With that said I will still be buying puts on CTX starting a position, the chart is really starting to weaken. These restrictive tariffs are/will do more to dampen this market ie make it go down, than anything else at the present. I voted for Bush because this is the type of action I though Gore would take!! I guess Dad was right - Democrat, Republican, different fish but the same smell! These imposed tariffs were not expected therefore they will work their magic for the bears.
