Let me take a minute to some figuring on a 30 year $100k note. At 10% the payments are $877.57. Let's see that's 30x12 or 360 payments or $315,925.20. Geez, better to pay cash. 30 year 100k @ 7%. Monthly is $665.30. $239,508 total. 315,925 239,508 -------- Looks like a savings of $76,417. Humm, that $1500 doesn't seem like such a big factor.
