It may come as a surprise to you that I'm fiscal conservative. Does that surprise you? It is also a poorly kept secret. Believe it or not, that's why I asked you. What would be the philosophical basis of your alignment to right-wing rhetoric against gays, support for Christian-directed prayer in schools and reduction of personal liberties, if you have such opinions, then? Again, since I don't presume to know, I can only guess about how you personally resolve the cognitive dissonance.
