I agree. When people are forced into camps (of any kind) we are all harmed. That's why I ask people why they align themselves to their respective 'camps' - people assume I'm a lefty (which I may be on some scales, and not others). I don't consider myself an apologist for anyone's wrong doings.

When there is evidence of the complicity of Republicans on the Enron fiasco, and the Executive who had ties to these organizations wants to declare executive privilege, it rings hollow when people who were all aflutter about "Whitewater" go silent.

I wasn't silent about S&L debacle, Whitewater or Enron. All were criminal acts, IMO. BJ's in the Oval Office didn't rate my criticism or contempt. But Enron and the S&Ls were much, much, much larger criminal acts. I didn't think Jim and Tammy Fay should have gone to jail either: since people gave their money voluntarily without a prospectus, IMO there was no warranty. But I'm a rationalist.
